Mohammad Husan was born and raised in Long Island, New York and attended high school in Houston, Texas. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2011. During his undergraduate studies, he served as a congressional intern in the 23rd Congressional District of Texas.
Following his undergraduate studies, Mohammad received his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2014. While studying law he worked as a student attorney in the Asylum and Human Trafficking Clinic, where he litigated cases by drafting civil complaints against traffickers and prepared clients to testify.
Before joining Heard and Smith, he gained experience in family law litigation, immigration, and public benefits. Mohammad is a member of the Texas Young Lawyer's Association and the San Antonio Bar Association.
