Lauren Leal
Lauren Leal was born and raised in Port Lavaca, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012 and her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2015. While studying law she worked as a student attorney and research assistant for the St. Mary’s Center For Legal and Social Justice’s Civil Justice Clinic where she represented low-income clients in various areas of the law with a focus on Social Security Disability cases. Upon graduating she received a Pro Bono and Public Service Certificate.
Lauren is a member of the Texas Exes Alumni Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, Hispanic Law Alumni Association, and Bexar County Women’s Bar Association & Foundation.
