Kathleen L. Day is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas. After graduating from
Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts, and a Master of Arts in Church-State
Studies, Ms. Day attended the University of Texas at Austin Law School, and was
admitted to the Texas Bar in 1986.
Ms. Day is licensed to practice in all Texas Courts, the Western and Southern
Districts of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Ms. Day worked in the private sector for many years as a trial attorney, and
spent four years with the Bexar County District Attorney’s office as an
Assistant Criminal District Attorney – Civil Section. Ms. Day began representing
Social Security Disability Claimants’ in 1995, and practices law in the area of
civil litigation in Federal and States courts. Ms. Day is a sustaining member of
the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, member
of the State Bar, member of the Corpus Christi Bar Association, Texas Employment
Lawyers Association (TELA), and a member of the Corpus Christi Women Lawyer’s
Association.
