Sarah Lott
Sarah Lott was born and raised in Concord, North Carolina. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in 2019, receiving her B.A. in Criminal Justice and Sociology. During her time in undergrad, she learned she wanted to attend law school after working in an intellectual property law firm and clerking for a Tuscaloosa County judge.
Sarah moved to the "Big Easy" in 2020 to study law at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. During her second year of law school, she worked at a non-profit representing tenants who were affected by hurricanes and other natural disasters in southern Louisiana. Sarah spent her third year at Loyola as a member of the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice, where she represented indigent clients in their criminal matters. Both of these legal experiences developed her passion for helping the less fortunate and advocating for the socioeconomically disadvantaged.
Throughout her law school career, Sarah was involved in Trial Advocacy, was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, and worked as a Research Assistant to various professors. Upon graduation, she spent her summer studying hard for the North Carolina Bar Exam and was admitted to practice law in North Carolina in August 2023.
