Tariq Khan was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He earned his Bachelors’ of Arts degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Political Science from the University of Houston in 2011.
After completion of his undergraduate studies, Tariq received his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2014. While studying law, Tariq was a Staff Writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice.
Tariq is a member of the Texas Young Lawyer’s Association, the San Antonio Bar Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives.
He is a proficient Urdu speaker and practices in Houston, TX where he lives with his wife.
